I always make a point to see Erik when he's at the Minnesota FallCon. At the recent show (Oct 10-11) he did an AMAZING color sketch on The Marvels Project #1 blank cover! He recreated the scene from the first Spider-Man film of Spidey hanging upside down, in the rain kissing MJ. This sketch is in my personal top 20 sketches ever. Others in my Top 20 include 2 by George Perez, a Frank Cho, Jose-Luis Garcia Lopez, Phil Jiminez, Phil Hester, Fred Hembeck, Chad Spilker & Chris Rich-McKe

I have enjoyed Erik's work immensely. He has a easily identifiable style that is pleasing, yet his illustrations can run the gamut from humorous to dynamic and not lose a thing. I love his faces and his layout skills and his ability to capture mood. But most of all he can convey true humor with images. Not an easy thing to do and I envy him that ability.

I have gotten several pieces from Erik Burnahm that are some of the best commissions I have gotten from anyone. His cartoony tone adds wonderful sense of fun to his work, but his knowledge of anatomy and composition makes the characters pop! The dynamics of his talent and his love for comics make for a piece that his worth every nickel and dime!

I just purchased a Defenders piece from Erik, and it is fantastic. I've seen a couple of samples of his work, and when I saw his Defenders, I had to have it. It will soon be framed and on my wall. He has different styles of drawings, and is very reasonable. I recommend checking out his samples, and check out his website.

I have three pieces by Erik. Each one hangs proudly on my wall. The Creature from the Black Lagoon is simply stunning. You really won't find a better deal for your money. So quit wasting your time and buy already!
