Hi my name is Andrew Cox, I was born in Jamaica and grew-up in Montreal, Canada and currently I live in Toronto, Canada. I have been literally drawing and painting over the span of my forty-three years. I am a self-taught artist. My work is highly detailed, clean and precise, especially in relation to the human figure, because of my years spent meticulously studying human anatomy. I am equally adept at working from my imagination or from references.The kind of artwork I like most is anything that transcends the boundaries of consensus reality and transports me to worlds beyond the horizon.

I am currently accepting commissions. All works in colour are rendered in oil paints - prices starting at $400.00. Black-and-white works are rendered in pencils or inks - prices start at $250.00. Size of original commissions are from 11"x17" and up.
