A focus on texture and a strong composition is crucial to my process, especially when I'm working with pen and ink. I love taking a traditional character and giving it my unique vision. What's exiting for me is to work within the boundries a client has built for me, and to find a way to add to the composition to deliver more than what they had envisioned, which is the duty of an artist.
