Here we have four individual 8.5x11 Lantern pages, supplied by our fan, featuring two Green Lanterns (Salaak and Katma Tui), a Blue Lantern (Ganthet), and a Yellow Lantern (Mongul). BLACK CANARY- Up Close and Personal!
In this illustration, we were asked to draw a portrait of Black Canary. We've found that drawing head shots this large can be pretty difficult, so what we did was draw her portrait small, enlarge it, and then trace it on bristol board with a light box. That way, we got all of her proportions to look correct. This 9x12 commission was completed on 10/14/09. |

BIG BARDA! For Charity
We were asked to donate a drawing to the Marla-Bea Benefit, an online fund-raiser for breast cancer research. The only stipulations were the drawing had to feature a female character and should include the color pink. Being huge fans of Jack Kirby's Fourth World, we chose to do Big Barda. Here we were asked to draw The Question tossing a bunch of blank cards at the viewer.
