cogitation&speculation

So I just got a hold of BT's album This Binary Universe and I must say that I can't believe I waited until now to listen to it. It's absolutely gorgeous, gutsy, and vast. The cd also comes with a dvd with videos that go to each of the seven songs and all of them are incredibly diverse. If you're into electronic glitchy sounds paired with unique melodies on guitar, harps, glocks, 110 piece orchestras, along with stunning visuals, you might like this. I've linked a video to the song 1.618 and The Antikythera Mechanism if you'd like to check it out!

Headphones only though! You gotta hear everything... ;)

Sidenote: the number 1.681 is reference to the Golden Ratio which is a pretty cool mathematical/arts topic.

I'm not sure what it is about this album, but I felt different after listening to it. The first song alone took BT 6 months to make and it was made solely in Csounds which is amazing. I dunno what it is, but you can feel the amount of energy and time poured into every song and it makes you appreciate it all the more. Hope some of you give it a listen!

You can't have multiple entries for your "favourite" choices!! There is no "s" at the end! You are destroying the system.

Lolz, and YES, he is totally the groundhog of poetry. Just remember: Don't drive angry.
~SaporousSerenade:iconSaporousSerenade: Sep 11, 2008, 7:04:03 AM
Ha! That totally reminds me. I'm sure you've heard this little jewel before from a Bloodhound Gang song. "I was lonelier than Kunta Kinte at a Merle Haggard concert
That night I strolled on into Uncle Limpy's Hump Palace lookin' for love"

This guy is the reason why no one cares about poetry anymore. The groundhog has to die. He's got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.

"Down ‘cross town
there’s a chick
with sunglasses on
she’s jiving by
record player
jazz music — bop
Coltrane, ‘Blow baby’
Blow!"

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahaaaaaaaaaa Ugh, and the way he signs everything "With love, John". Gross.

God, I read the first three newest ones. Soooo bad. Man, and I thought Jimmy's poems were bad. "The ziggaraut stuck out like a black kid at a Nickleback concert." <-- Real quote, swear to god.

Wow. Tell me where I can get fans who will kiss my ink-blotted ass of a face and worship bad poetry like this dA sponsored cretin [link]

O god; count me down, Lindsay? the how long until 15 and the when I will talk to one who once flattered my one expression upon worldly beauty.

At SDCC I saw so many Link and Zelda couples, it was crazy. The complexity of their costumes is impressive.

Duuuuuuude! Have you ever searched dA for cosplay of nintendo stuff? Some of these people do some friggin awesome stuff for Zelda! If you ever go to one of these conventions, you're taking me with you,

Hey! I just wanted to make sure you got the copy of the script that I emailed to you last night.

If not I'll send it again. Let me know what you think of it.

Drop me a line later and we can discuss font options. :3

Also, I don't remember if I specified this in the forum topic or not but, this is a non-paying project. ^^; Sorry if you were expecting pay and, if you were, I completely understand if you want to decline your offer.

I'll stop cluttering your profile now. Get back to me when ya can. :)
