I just finished reading your story, "Jazz" in the Popgun anthology and absolutely loved it. It's a great book overall, but yours was the first story that drove me to Google to find out who did it. Truly outstanding. I hope to see more work from you soon.

Yesterday is history tommorrow a mystery. Today a gift, that is why they call it the present.

ya know, it never even occured to me to look at caligraphy, but it makes sence in that you could use the individual characters and create some really wicked compositions and/or page layouts. . . I'm gonna have to play around with that some when I get home. . . and I've pilfered so many adam hughes sketches over the years that I'll happily go oogle his work for some fun understudy study. . . lately i've pretty much been geeking out over Eric Canete's blog page online, a lot of the angles he uses are absolutely crazy, and Oliver Coipel's thor work is just plain badass, how he's breaking down a panel into simple foreground/background kinda reminds me of Mignola, except unlike mike oliver still has to use more than three lines to sell the image. . .fucking Mignola, LoL

i've looking at lot of Adam hughes'
sketches, you see alot of the underline angles.
plus chinese caligraphy is a series of single strokes to form a appealing simple pictures.
For hughes to caligraphy. hahahahaha
